Endocrinology Consultants Opens In-House Laboratory
Englewood, New Jesey (PRWEB) May 28, 2015 -- Frustrated with slow lab response time, Endocrinology Consultants, P.C decided to take control over the situation and build their own laboratory.
After years of working with large, multisite lab companies, the manager at Endocrinology Consultants, in collaboration the physicians, decided that patients would be better served by having the lab testing housed under the same roof as the doctors, and with the same caring service the clinicians provide.
“Endocrinologists need accurate blood test results at the time of the consultation. This is necessary to provide proper care,” said Dr. Joseph Schwartz, the Medical Director.
One of the biggest challenges in bringing the lab in-house was getting the equipment to fit through the door. In the end, though, the results were worth the trouble. The entire laboratory team is top notch.
“Our patients enjoy the convenience of getting their blood work done in-house. Our team is here 6 days a week from 7AM to 8PM. We are able to send results directly from the lab to patient charts, compare results with ease, and provide same-day results.
