Energetic, American private tutor required for young family in Texas
(PRWEB UK) 14 December 2015 -- Tutors International, globally leading provider of full-time private tutors, has posted a vacancy for an American private tutor for a family in Austin, Texas. The two older children are currently enrolled in an excellent private school, however, they are often away for long periods of time due to the varied work commitments of their parents. The role advertised will be to provide after-school support to the children whilst at home in Austin, switching to full-time home tutoring while the family are away travelling, in accordance with curriculum and materials outlined by their school.
Founder of Tutors International, Adam Caller, commented: “The successful candidate for this role will be able to work alongside the school in blending work from the school’s online platform with their own lessons and exercises. It is key to ensure that these children get the best possible experience from their time away from the classroom. It is also important, wherever possible, to include their 3-year-old brother in learning activities, so the ideal candidate will have the ability to design educational activities and materials that will accommodate these age differences.”
Accommodation and geographic location for this role will be varied. The tutor may be required to work from multiple locations, including caravans or campsites. This means that the tutor must be able to work independently of modern conveniences at times. Despite the challenges, this also provides the tutor with a unique opportunity for creativity and to teach in a variety of environments that illuminate the standard curriculum and potentially enhance the children’s learning experience.
Tutors International has devised their recruitment process to ensure the best fit for both tutors and students and have built a solid reputation for placing exceptional tutors with families in a number of different situations and circumstances. Discretion, flexibility, energy and a genuine concern for the wellbeing of the family is key to a successful placement.
