Madison Heights, MI (PRWEB) August 05, 2013 -- Energy Products, Inc. and Battery Giant Inc. have announced the purchase of a 117,000 square foot facility in Madison Heights. After renovations are completed, the new facility will serve as the new corporate headquarters for both companies.
Currently headquartered in Sterling Heights, MI, Energy Products has additional facilities in Grand Rapids, MI, Toledo, OH, New Castle, PA and Windsor, Ontario, Canada. The new building allows the company to consolidate operations from multiple locations while providing increased space and additional room for growth. “The opportunity to move our core operations into one centralized building was one we simply couldn’t pass up,” stated Kurt H. Smith, CEO. “The new facility increases our capacity, will increase the efficiency in operation and will ultimately lead to a better experience for our customers and employees.”
The building, at 1551 E. Lincoln in Madison Heights, also puts the company at a logistically favorable location near the I-75 and I-696 interchange. Energy Products provides products and services to companies that range in size from automotive manufacturing companies, tiered suppliers, warehousing distribution, grocery and retail battery specialists as well as many other customers.
