Engine World Inc Now has a Dedicated Quality Control Team to Ensure all Japanese Motors Pass through Stringent Testing and Inspection Before they are Shipped
Los Angeles, California (PRWEB) November 23, 2014 -- Engine World Inc established in 2004 is known for supplying low mileage Japanese engines. They believe trust is the reason for their success. Engine World has a dedicated team at their offices in Japan to carefully hand pick low mileage used Japanese engines and transmissions. Their team has full control from the moment the vehicle is acquired in Japan for engine to be pulled out till they are loaded in the container. Each vehicle is driven to check if the engine and transmission is functional and meets their quality standards. Once the container arrives at Engine World's head office in Houston each engine and transmission is carefully tested again. Here is a detailed explanation of how their engines are tested:
Compression test: This is the most important test that reveals true health of the engine. It shows condition of valves, valve seats & piston rings. Healthy compression ratio is generally over 100 psi but according to Engine World's standards dry compression should be around and over 120 psi but highest and lowest variation in compression between all cylinders must not be over 10 percent.
Leak down test: In this test compressed air is injected through spark plug hole to read positive pressure created by the cylinder. Since internal combustion engine draws the mixture of air and fuel to build power. Leak down tester has two gauges, one measures amount of air entering and other measures percentage of air escaping or leaking from the cylinder. This test indicates overall health of the engine.
Oil Pressure test: This helps diagnose problems with engine oil pressure. This test indicates condition of oil pump.
Overall inspection and steam washing: This step includes thorough inspection of the whole engine to ensure there is no sludge, cracks or broken housing, mounts or brackets. Engine World uses environmentally friendly parts washer to steam clean all engines before they are shipped. Engines are carefully and securely tied down on a pallet and shrink wrapped for shipment.
The above steps are compulsory before an engine is shipped to their customers. Engine World has a team of experienced sales representatives who make sure that right engine is being shipped to the customer based on specifications provided by the customer while filling the credit card form on their website http://www.bestjapaneseengines.com/
