Denver, CO (PRWEB) December 16, 2013 -- Engrain (http://www.engrain.com), the leading provider of virtual tour and resident interaction systems, announced that it has added social medial functionality to its TouchTour system.
“TouchTour panels serve many purposes,” said Audrey Bolema, marketing and business development director at Engrain. “In their role as a messaging system intended to help property managers and residents stay connected, it makes perfect sense to display approved pictures and posts from the onsite team’s social media accounts. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Blog entries… All of them help create a sense of community among tenants and staff.”
TouchTour units, which are large (42” to 70”) multi-touch panels, were first used by multifamily sales and leasing offices to provide in-depth virtual property tours, local area information and other services. The system is now being utilized in other markets such as single family real estate and higher education housing. When not in use by prospective or current residents, TouchTour screens display community messaging.
“When community events take place, residents can upload photos to a moderated feed, enhancing their sense of involvement and showing prospects that both the property management team and the tenants are active and engaged,” said Bolema. “It’s a great selling point for the property.
