Enough Cocaine to Time Travel - Feature Film Crowdfunding Campaign

From the films bold title, to perks like placing one contributor in rehab, clever is the theme of this offbeat crowdfunding campaign.
If they're this good at fundraising videos, imagine how good the movie they're making can be. This isn’t a run of the mill, talking head campaign video. Instead, with a unique and visionary approach to fundraising, from Director Kyle Lavore, it’s no wonder the campaign has generated nearly $7,000 in just 48 hours. Lavore’s off-beat attitude led him to a top 200 finish in and to be recognized by SHOOT Magazine in their “New Directors” search.
A bizarre, sometimes funny, often scary depiction of drug addiction is the perfect tagline for this dramedy about a man who wakes up in the near future after a drug bender and finds himself running for his life from a ruthless drug dealer. On the film, Lavore says, “I want people to know that it’s okay to laugh. We're not pushing an agenda, we're simply telling a story.” Nevertheless, the campaign itself nods to the impact of substance abused by pledging to donate a portion of any earnings to The National Center on Addiction and Substance Abuse.
Inspired by his own experience with loss due to addiction, Lavore says, “I’ve broken down in tears while creating this story on so many occasions. Even if this film impacts one person’s life, I’ll consider it a success.”
The film’s production team includes Producers Aaron Jensen and Maxwell Gaxely, along with Associate Producer Terese Cilluffo. The film stars Adrian Enscoe. Adrian is known for Jamie Marks Is Dead, Seeds, Girls, and Orange is the New Black. He can also be seen later this year alongside Catherine Keener and Anton Yelchin in The Greens Are Gone.
