ENR Names A&P Top Colorado/Wyoming Contractor for 2015
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) July 25, 2015 -- Adolfson & Peterson Construction (A&P) has been named the top Colorado and Wyoming contractor for 2015 by Engineering News-Record (ENR) Mountain States, a leading publication for the engineering and construction industry.
A&P enjoyed an outstanding 2014, completing several notable projects, including the University of Colorado Health Harmony Cancer Center Phase 2 in Fort Collins, Colorado; the Lake County High School Addition and Renovations in Leadville, Colorado; and the Cheyenne Aquatic Center in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
Additionally, the company kicked off construction on the Village Center Station III, CoBank Center, a 296,000 sf, 11-story, build-to-suit Class A office complex located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. Also breaking ground in 2014 was the $95M Natrona County High School Historic Renovations, a four-year, phased historical renovation project in Casper, Wyoming being completed on an occupied high school campus.
A&P employs more than 200 employees between company offices in Aurora and Cheyenne, and more than 30% of employees have been with the company for a decade or more. The Colorado office recently celebrated the 50th anniversary of Superintendent Denny Pehrson, who helped found the Colorado regional office in 1981. Pehrson was also recognized last year with the ENR Mountain States Legacy Award.
A&P has received a number of other accolades in 2015, including being named General Contractor of the Year by the American Subcontractors Association of Colorado; a Top Workplace by Colorado’s largest publication, The Denver Post; and was named among Denver’s Best Places to Work by the Denver Business Journal.
