Tarrytown, NY (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- ENT and Allergy Associates®, LLP continues to add the best and the brightest to its clinical ranks, welcomes Pediatric Otolaryngologist Dr. Anthony Paul Vastola, MD, FACS to its new Staten Island and Brooklyn Heights offices.

Today ENTA proudly announced the addition of Fellowship Trained Pediatric Otolaryngologist A. Paul Vastola, MD, FACS.
Dr. Vastola will begin seeing patients at two of ENTA's newest state-of-the-art offices in Staten Island and Brooklyn Heights effective Spring 2014.
Dr. Vastola graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS in Molecular Biology and went on to receive his Medical Degree from the Boston University School of Medicine where he earned placement on The National Deans List and was awarded membership in the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his preliminary residency in General Surgery at The New York Hospital—Cornell Medical Center. His Otolaryngology residency at Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital was completed in 1994. He then pursued a Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Baylor College of Medicine—Texas Children’s Hospital. Dr. Vastola has authored numerous presentations and publications on topics related to Pediatric Otolaryngology and has also contributed his skills and expertise to multiple Medical Missions overseas. He is licensed in Medicine by the State of New York and Board-Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
A seasoned ENT physician, Dr. Vastola joins ENTA from Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY where he served as the Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology as well as Associate Director of the Cleft Lip and Palate service. He has also served as Assistant Professor of Surgery at SUNY Downstate.

Dr. Vastola will see patients at ENTA's new Staten Island office (at 1 Teleport Drive, Staten Island, NY 10311), which features 13 ENT exam rooms, 3 Allergy rooms, 2 Audiology Booths and 1 Hearing Aid Dispensing room, and a welcoming reception area. This new state-of-the-art office will also house the ENTA Staten Island Sleep Lab.
There he joins Otolaryngologists Mark E. Carney, MD; Shawn C. Ciecko, MD, FACS; Abraham I. Sinnreich, MD; and Allergist/Immunologist Dorothy Chau, MD; as well as Audiologists Beata Contri, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA; and Harriet Friedman-Wilson, Au.D., CCC-A, F-AAA.
In addition, Otolaryngologist John P. Dodaro, MD will be coming on to join these physicians as of November 1st, 2013.

In the new Brooklyn Heights office (at One Pierrepont Plaza, Brooklyn, NY 11201), Dr. Vastola will join the entire roster of superb physicians currently practicing in Park Slope (406 15th Street, Park Slope Brooklyn, NY 11215), including Otolaryngologists Ramez Habib, MD, FACS; Sheldon Palgon, MD; Christopher Song, MD, FACS; Francisca Yao, MD; Roheen Raithatha, MD; and Allergist/Immunologist Milo Vassallo, MD, Ph.D.. Working right alongside them is audiologist Sofya Shlafman, Au.D. In addition, in the near future Tahl Colen, MD, an ENTA Neuro-otologist who also sees patients in the Practice's Bay Ridge East office, will provide her services at this location. The state-of-the-art space will serve the patients of Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, Dumbo, Carroll Gardens, Clinton Hill, Fort Greene and Boerum Hills, and could be up and running as early as Spring 2014. It will supplant the Practice's current office at 406 15th Street, Park Slope Brooklyn, NY 11215. The new office at One Pierrepont is easily accessible with 13 Subway Lines, 15 Bus Lines and the LIRR.
