Malvern, PA (PRWEB) June 13, 2016 -- Entech, a leading provider of financial software platforms and consulting services is excited to partner with Techgirlz, a non-profit whose mission is to reduce the gender gap and get girls aged 11-14 interested in technology and empower them to seek careers in the technology sector.
The Techgirlz partnership aligns with other Entech business and technology enablement programs like its GradTech program that gets recent college grads their first technology job.
“We believe strongly in the mission of Techgirlz and introducing young women to the technology sector.” Said David Isaacson Vice President of Marketing and Business Development at Entech. “There is no better way to get young people involved in technology careers than giving them hand-on experience through workshops like that kind that TechGirlz offers.”
Entech’s first Techgirlz workshop will be hosted at its corporate headquarters in Malvern, PA. Entech Software Developer Mike Salamone will teach the class about HTML and CSS and how to use them to create a website.
“We are so happy that Entech is hosting this workshop. We think this will be a great way for girls to explore technology related concepts as well as see first hand how technologists do their jobs in an office setting.” Said Tracey Welson-Rossman, Founder of TechGirlz.
