EnterScape Announces Partnership with Urjanet to Provide Executives with the Financial Perspective of Energy Consumption
Atlanta and Jeffersonville, IN (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- Urjanet, the industry’s first automated utility bill and interval data-as-a-service solution, and EnterScape, a single point source for industrial utility and enterprise monitoring services, today announced a strategic partnership in which EnterScape will integrate Urjanet’s utility cost data into its on-site submetering data. This combination will provide more value to EnterScape’s clients, as senior management will be able to understand the cost of energy consumption at both granular and enterprise-wide levels.
“We want to provide our clients with as much visibility as possible into their allocation of energy resources, usage, and trends,” said Mark Raisor, COO of EnterScape. "Our goal is to enable our clients to make the best financial and environmental decisions. Incorporating Urjanet’s utility bill data into our energy management software, UtilityRecon®, translates units of consumption, such as kilowatts, into dollars, a language that everyone can understand.”
“Partnering with EnterScape allows Urjanet to help energy-intensive manufacturing companies cut energy consumption and costs while increasing the productivity of their sites,” said Gary Brooks, Urjanet’s Chief Marketing Officer. “We’re excited to join forces with EnterScape and expand our growing list of industries that derive value from our data.”
SPARK, an annual energy and sustainability symposium hosted by Urjanet, really emphasized for EnterScape how critical it is for large companies and organizations to collect detailed, accurate, and timely energy data in an increasingly regulated environment.
“Urjanet is our greatest innovation this year,” said Raisor. “In fact, we find Urjanet’s data so valuable that we are designing a new, Urjanet-centric interface to get our users faster access to the data they need.”
EnterScape is also currently exploring the opportunity to use Urjanet’s interval data for measurement and verification purposes in its clients’ demand response programs. Because Urjanet’s interval data is often less expensive than investing in submetering, EnterScape would reduce its data acquisition costs and increase enrollment of large manufacturing companies in these programs to help reduce utilities’ peak demand.
