EO Connecticut to Host a Competition for the Global Student Entrepreneur Awards
Norwalk, CT (PRWEB) September 26, 2016 -- The Global Student Entrepreneurs Awards (GSEA) announced today that the Connecticut chapter of Entrepreneurs Organization (“EO”) will host a QUALIFIER Competition on November 9th, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the Norwalk Community College. GSEA, a program of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), is the premier awards program for student entrepreneurs. GSEA provides students the opportunity to form lasting relationships with students and the VIP entrepreneur judges. Over the years, participating students have gone on to create thousands of jobs and generate millions in revenue.
Eligible students are currently enrolled as an undergraduate student of a recognized college or university. Students need to be primarily responsible for the operation of a for-profit or social enterprise structured (revenue generating) business that has been operating for no less than six (6) consecutive months. Students can apply by filling out the online application at http://www.GSEA.org/apply.
Upon review of the applications, selected students will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to present their business and entrepreneurial journey in front of a panel of entrepreneur judges. The winner of this competition will be sent to compete at the next level of competition in Kansas City on March 7th, 8th and 9th, 2017. The winner of the US National Competition will attend the GSEA Finals to compete with the world’s top student entrepreneurs and have a chance to win over $400,000 in cash and donated business services in Frankfurt, Germany on April 27th through April 29th, 2017.
The application deadline is October 15, 2016.
