Equity Partners, Elections to Partnership Announced
PHOENIX, Ariz. (PRWEB) January 05, 2016 -- Lewis Roca Rothgerber Christie LLP announces the election of Garrett Gordon and Mark Patton as equity partners, and election of Martin Enriquez, Todd Erb and Glenn Light to the firm’s partnership. All are effective Jan. 1, 2016.
Gordon practices in the areas of land use law, real estate law, and government relations. He has represented clients before numerous local governments and state agencies including city councils, county and state boards and commissions, and state legislature in a variety of projects including land use, development, zoning, water rights, common-interest communities, gaming, liquor, vehicle and health care issues. He is based in the firm’s Reno and Las Vegas offices.
As a transactional attorney, Patton represents clients with business formations, restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and joint ventures, many of which involve real estate. As a certified public accountant (CPA) and former tax consultant, he helps clients with tax issues that arise in these business transactions. He also is experienced assisting clients with private offerings of securities to acquire and expand businesses. Patton is based in the firm’s Tucson office.
A business and trial attorney who specializes in assisting businesses resolve their legal needs, Enriquez focuses on complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts as well as in cross-border litigation, mediation and arbitration. He also advises client on laws and regulations governing international business, distribution agreements and networks, and foreign manufacturing and fabrication. Enriquez is based in the firm’s Denver office.
Erb is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group and litigates extensively in both in Arizona and Nevada. He assists clients in a broad range of litigation matters, with specific expertise in first-party insurance coverage defense, professional liability defense, product liability defense, premises liability defense, ERISA litigation and representing obligors in structured settlement transfers. Erb is based in the firm’s Phoenix office.
Light practices in the firm’s gaming practice, focusing on land-based and interactive casinos, horse racing, sports betting, sweepstakes and contests, guiding clients through the licensing process. He is licensed in Nevada and New York and has participated in regulatory and licensing matters in numerous tribal, state, and foreign jurisdictions. Light is based in the firm’s Las Vegas office.
