eQuorum Announces Release of ImageSite Version 8.5

Introducing eSync=Site
eSync=SiteTM is eQuorum's newest module for the ImageSite suite of products, allowing the synchronization of folders and files across multiple servers and locations, with comprehensive ImageSite security built in. Distributed files are automatically kept up-to-date regardless of who revised them on any synced server.
eSync=Site provides users with the highest possible performance through access to locally stored large files while enabling a global view of all files across independent systems. eSync=Site synchronization to an external (Internet connected) ImageSite server provides tremendous benefits for secure distribution and collaboration with external users, such as vendors, contractors, and customers. This also is a great way to provide mobile device access to internally stored files through similar synchronization with an external (Internet connected) ImageSite server, either cloud based or outside the corporate network. Finally, eSync=Site can be used to establish an archive or disaster recovery site that is automatically synced and maintained. Best of all, eSync=Site is a free module in ImageSite 8.5.
Autodesk Vault Integration
eQuorum now provides direct integration to Autodesk Vault, making ImageSite a perfect solution for organizations that use Vault for design data management but need a more cost effective and easy to use solution for the rest of their organization. ImageSite extends Autodesk Vault with lifecycle based document control and release functions, automatically generating DWFs or PDFs of approved files and making them available for non-design users to search, view, markup, print and collaborate, both internally and with outside vendors, suppliers and customers.
Expanded Product Data Management capabilities
Version 8.5 expands ImageSite’s Product Data Management capabilities with enhancements to the SolidWorks and Inventor Connector Modules.
ImageSite CAD Connector enhancements include an Autodesk Inventor Add-In for ImageSite Explorer (Inventor V2012 and V2013). Inventor files can now be published directly to DWF format. In addition, a Solidworks 2013 Add-In is now available for ImageSite Explorer.
The integrated ImageSite viewer has also been enhanced to include greater PDF fidelity and increased control of the viewable output (including EMF, TIF, or TIF Group 4 viewable versions of PDF files). 3D DWF files can also be viewed within the ImageSite Viewer using any web based DWF viewer such as Autodesk’s Design Review.
