ER24 Achieves NAAMTA Medical Transport Accreditation
Johannesburg, South Africa (PRWEB) September 11, 2015 -- Subsequent to a comprehensive audit of administrative documentation, medical practices, and facilities, NAAMTA is awarding ER24 full medical transport accreditation for their fixed-, rotor-wing and ground programs. As a result, ER24 now begins their role as a NAAMTA Alliance member, and thus is privy to the benefits associated.
NAAMTA’s Alliance members are held in high esteem for meeting stringent requirements that define and influence transport operational excellence. ER24 not only demonstrated compliance in each of the extensive standards, but also excelled in identifying best practice procedures and instilling these values in each employee. NAAMTA found their compliance to be evident through employee interviews, on-site evaluations, and process reviews, all of which were conducted using ISO 9001:2008 auditing guidelines.
NAAMTA’s Accreditation program is built on providing standards that focus on quality patient care and the safety of the transports for all involved. NAAMTA’s Alliance unifies each accredited organization in the vanguard of continuous improvement for medical transport.
From Dr. Robyn Holgate, ER24’s Chief Medical Officer, “What a privilege to work with such a thorough and professional team. In my many years in the industry, I've never experienced such a comprehensive and rewarding audit. Amy, Nancy and Griff left no stone unturned during the week they spent with us. It was more than an accreditation review; it was a powerful experience where our team learned so much more about aviation medical services. Their passion and dedication will continue to motivate us to improve and ensure quality standards in the years to come. Thank you for the opportunity to be exposed to your fantastic team and organization!”
NAAMTA’s Director of Clinical Operations, Nancy Purcell, observed, “Building a partnership with organizations governed by differing international laws and regulations always presents exciting collaborative opportunities that result in strong relationships. ER24 is recognized as the benchmark standard of medical transport services throughout all of South Africa. Their achievement of NAAMTA Accreditation establishes them among the leading programs on the international stage of medical transport. Their passion for providing the highest quality of patient care was obvious throughout the entire auditing process. We look forward to seeing great leadership from ER24 throughout South Africa.”
ER24 demonstrated throughout their documented processes and employee activity that they are dedicated to magnifying the standards of the medical transport industry in South Africa. One of the ways they accomplish this focus is by placing special emphasis on patient care relationships, an element that stood out during the entire auditing process.
ER24 has built a solid reputation in medical transport excellence, a status augmented now by an internationally-recognized medical transport accreditation. NAAMTA salutes ER24 for their proactive approach in achieving their accreditation and looks forward to the contributions they will make to the NAAMTA Alliance.
