ERS Congress 2016 First To Benefit From New Content Trending Tool
Lausanne, Switzerland (PRWEB) September 02, 2016 -- SpotMe has been selected by the ERS (European Respiratory Society) to launch an innovative content advisory feature as part of its market-leading Congress App at the upcoming ERS Congress 2016.
The new tool is a result of the close-knit partnership and continuous innovation between both SpotMe and the ERS to provide medical association congress stakeholders with an intuitive app to instinctively find content in this data-rich environment.
The ERS Congress will host up to 23,000 delegates at the five-day event, which will be held in London, UK, from 3rd to 7th September. With more than 5,500 sessions and 4,000 abstracts, the scale of the ERS Congress makes it the perfect setting for users to reap the rewards of the two new 360° Abstracts and Trending Content features.
The 360° Abstracts feature allows participants to access properly indexed, abstract content in just three taps from their mobile device. It has the capacity to manage tens of thousands of participants sharing hundreds of documents, and can support complex agendas with multiple parallel sessions, allowing the user to seamlessly navigate a 360° agenda with linked maps, and content.
The new Trending Content functionality intuitively suggests the most relevant and popular sessions and abstracts to the user. Its Trending Sessions, Trending Industry Sessions, Trending Abstracts and Recently Viewed Content tools bring a wide range of benefits to both delegates and industry members.

Delegates can, for example, use the Trending Sessions tool to gain a higher level of insight into the congress and the sessions which are piquing other delegates’ interest. Industry members and sponsors can also achieve improved insights through the Trending Industry Sessions feature, which also allows them to optimise the congress to match delegate demand.
Users can gain further insight into the congress by viewing the top 5 or top 10 Trending Abstracts and can use the new Recently Viewed Content tab, which tracks and presents the last 10 viewed pieces of content.
