ESHA Announces Integration with TraceGains
SALEM, Ore. (PRWEB) February 19, 2018 -- ESHA Research, the developers of Genesis R&D® Product Development and Labeling software, announced today the completion of its integration with the TraceGains® supplier portal.
ESHA has developed a new workflow tool for Genesis R&D, entitled DataLink, that calls ingredient data from the TraceGains Supplier portal and imports the data into the Genesis R&D database. DataLink allows for shared customers to update supplier ingredient data without having to manually enter nutrient amounts.
"Our customers have been looking for a more streamlined process for gathering and updating supplier ingredient data across all systems," said Craig Bennett, CEO of ESHA. "Partnering with TraceGains has given us the opportunity to offer our shared customers a more accurate and seamless information transfer."
With the DataLink application, anytime an update is made to a supplier ingredient in TraceGains, users will be able to review a side-by-side comparison of the nutrient data and import the updated information directly into the Genesis R&D database. If no matching item is found, users can create a new ingredient in the database.
When an existing ingredient is updated, a .exl file with the old ingredient information is archived in the attachments section of the ingredient, and any recipe the ingredient is used in.
"For the Genesis R&D user, this means that supplier ingredient not only stays up-to-date, but users will have a record of previous ingredient and recipe versions should they ever get audited," said Josh Luth, Software Development Manager. "Plus, using TraceGains greatly improves data accuracy, and reduces errors and duplicate entries."
