Z-Scores are an evaluation method for tracking players based on their in-game impact. Using statistics such as kills, deaths, and assists, eSportsfanz has developed an algorithm that accounts for game time as well as the ‘snowball effect’, to generate an efficiency rating for League of Legends professional players. This efficiency rating allows fantasy users to understand players’ actual individual impact within the game, and creates more accurate fantasy values.
eSportsfanz beta will initially support the League of Legends North American and European LCS summer split season. The company plans to expand its support to additional eSports titles in the near future.
