eSSETS Asset & Facility Management Software Launches New User Interface
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (PRWEB) November 14, 2017 -- eSSETS, a leader in cloud-based asset, facility, and maintenance management solutions, announced the release of software update 7.8. The latest iteration of the software features a major design overhaul with a new user interface. This release reflects eSSETS commitment to building software that is easy, integrated and collaborative. “This was an important step in our march to provide the world’s easiest, and friendliest facility management system,” said eSSETS CEO Doug Roller. “We know this is a never-ending process and there is more excitement in the works.”
The 7.8 release was coined “Penny” for its ability to pin selection filters allowing the user to customize their search and sort filter options throughout the application. This functionality saves time by offering the option for each individual user to pin their most frequently used searches to various lists resulting in a unique and customized experience for the differing needs of managers, dispatchers, technicians, and casual users. This is one of many new updates that makes each user’s experience easier.
In addition to the updated navigation and pinnable features, several functional improvements to the software were also made. Multiple contractors can now be assigned to a job in the contractor portal and contractors can now see the assignment priorities for each project. Industry specific templates for restaurants and educational facilities were created to make start up of the software faster for new users. New filters have been added to the ToDoQ task manager, making search and sorting easier for dispatchers and technicians. Data export enhancements were also made to allow users to utilize their favorite spreadsheets for in-depth analysis reporting.
The new interface can be seen on essets.com where interested parties can sign up for a free demo and trial of the software.
