Estate Planning & Tax Attorney Harry Wolff III Joins Cox Smith
San Antonio, TX (PRWEB) August 11, 2014 -- Cox Smith, the largest law firm in San Antonio, today announced that attorney Harry Wolff III has joined the firm’s Estate Planning and Tax department.
Wolff has a deep understanding of estate planning and tax issues, including the implementation of wills and trust agreements, and reporting of sophisticated estate planning documents. He assists clients in the formation and use of family limited partnerships, limited liability companies and S corporations. He provides counsel on probate and estate administration matters in both taxable and non-taxable estates, the preparation and filing of transfer tax returns, the funding and administration of trusts and tax issues involving mineral interests and closely-held businesses. Also, he counsels clients on general tax matters, as well as the formation, operation and governance of non-profit organizations.
In addition to his law firm work experience, Wolff previously served as a law clerk at an international oilfield services company, where he conducted research and drafted materials for matters related to U.S. anti-boycott, export controls and economic sanctions laws. He also served as a press assistant in the Office of the Press Secretary at the White House.

A native of San Antonio, Wolff is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M. in Taxation), University of Houston Law Center (J.D.) and The University of Texas at Austin (B.S. in Public Relations). He is a member of the State Bar of Texas (Real Estate, Probate and Trust Law Section; Section of Taxation), American Bar Association (Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law; Section of Taxation) and Board of Governors of the San Antonio Estate Planners Council. Licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court, he was recognized by SA Scene magazine as a Rising Star (2013) and Best Lawyers in San Antonio (2011). He also served on the planning committee for the State Bar of Texas Advanced Estate Planning Course 2014.
