EstateSales.org Releases New Online Auction Platform for Estate Sales
Austin, Texas (PRWEB) October 04, 2016 -- EstateSales.org, a listing website for estate sales and auctions with over half a million subscribers, has released the first online auction platform built especially for the estate sale industry. The robust platform features an easy-to-use timed auction system designed for estate sales; buyer, bid and invoice management; and a central messaging system. Sellers will also be able to auto-generate invoices, statements, manage consignors, and control their own email lists integrated within the system.
“We've been seeing more and more sellers start to use online auctions as an alternative or as a supplement to in-person sales. There were other solutions out there, but none seemed to target the estate sale industry in particular, so it made sense to build our own platform that was fully integrated into our existing website,” said co-founder Michael Judkins.
EstateSales.org’s new online auction platform will help cut down on some of the problems inherent in traditional estate sales, such as Home Owners Associations, aggressive crowds, lack of inventory, limited “showroom” availability, and shoplifting. The new platform is also intended to help estate sale companies sell more items by giving them more flexibility and control over their sales.

Starting today, buyers who register (at no cost) can begin to bid on items online. Payment and shipping details regarding sale items are worked out, one-on-one, with the estate sale liquidator or seller. Judkins says that they plan to add more features over time based on customer feedback.
