Estenda Solutions, Inc. to Release Newest Version of CDMP
Conshohocken, PA (PRWEB) March 31, 2014 -- Estenda Solutions, Inc. is set to release the newest version of its web-based Comprehensive Disease Management Program (CDMP) software this April. The latest version is enhanced with features that provide risk calculations and management recommendations for patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic kidney disease. CDMP 5.4 is also customized for international use, multi-browser support, and allows for creating/editing surveys that can be used for capturing patient behavioral information, study data, and customer feedback.
With CDMP’s added features, health care providers will be able to calculate their patients’ risks for cardiovascular disease and provide them with recommendations for managing lipids, blood pressure, chronic kidney disease, and diabetes. There are also features that provide information on managing smoking, nutrition, alcohol, and physical activity. The new release allows each CDMP user to customize the Snapshot page (the main patient page) to include the panels they use most often, such as Labs and Vital Signs, Risk Profile, or Chronic Problems.
CDMP 5.4 includes two new APIs and integration capabilities which allow CDMP content to be embedded in an EMR and other third party applications. The first API is used to import private messages including attachments and the second, for managing user accounts. The End User API allows for synchronizing accounts between applications, and combined with the new Trusted Connection feature, CDMP content can be embedded in an EMR.
The newest release of CDMP also expands the collection of patient self-monitoring data to include medication adherence information from several medication reminder devices. The medication adherence data can be visualized in multiple ways and compliance percentages are automatically calculated. Combining blood glucose and blood pressure data with medication adherence information creates a powerful picture of a patient’s self-management experience.
