ETCO EDGE-C Composite Wire Termination Applicator Named a Top Product of 2014 by Wire and Cable International Magazine

The latest award comes from Wire and Cable International which named the EDGE-C composite wire termination applicator a Top Product of 2014. The EDGE-C was launched early in 2014 to replace ETCO’s Mighty Mini line of metal-based wire termination applicators. Customers that tested the applicator were immediately surprised at its performance, ease of use and durability. Since its release, the composite applicator has seen an increasing number of orders from first time purchasers at ETCO.
The EDGE-C applicator was created as a replacement for metal based applicators. The focus was to create a cost-effective high quality applicator that could withstand operations in a variety of harsh environments. Initial customers noted the low maintenance associated with the usage of the applicator. Comments in the field included the lack of heat buildup on the composite applicator versus metal based applicators. Customers also noted the increased lubricity of the applicator. Less time was being spent on lubricating the parts to ensure that the applicator was performing at peak efficiency.
