eTERA Consulting Names New Vice President of Consulting Solutions, Continues National Expansion
Washington, DC (PRWEB) January 14, 2016 -- eTERA Consulting, an internationally recognized and award-winning leader in data and technology management, today announced that Bruce Malter, CEDS has joined the company as Vice President of Consulting Solutions. In the newly created role, Malter will be responsible for expanding upon the company’s existing consulting service offering, Early Information Assessment (EIA). He will also focus on developing a client engagement program and will continue to grow eTERA’s national presence.
Coming on board with more than 16 years of experience in the eDiscovery space, Malter brings a unique set of experiences and skill sets particularly regarding litigation preparedness, legal holds, litigation consulting, forensic investigations and data collections.
Throughout his tenure in the legal consulting space, Malter has become closely involved with several industry organizations including the Masters Conference, the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), ARMA International, and the Association of Certified eDiscovery Specialists (ACEDS). Having spoken at these various conferences in the past, Malter will be the newest addition to eTERA’s Speakers Bureau of legal experts.
“Bruce is an outstanding addition to our leadership team, as he demonstrates a deep understanding as to why corporations must manage their data in a comprehensive, defensible manner in order to reduce costs and risks,” said Scott Holec, President of eTERA Consulting. “With a substantial background in eDiscovery and consulting, Bruce will only enhance our ability to help clients understand and manage their data efficiently and cost-effectively.”
“I am excited to join a company with such a highly-regarded reputation in the industry,” said Malter. “When learning about the position, it became very clear to me that eTERA and I have the same philosophy about eDiscovery in that consulting must come first, as corporations need to know what data they have and where it lives before litigation ensues. From what I have seen, eTERA is very well positioned for growth and expansion, and I am thrilled to be part of the team.”
Prior to joining eTERA, Malter was the Vice President of Sales and the Midwest Market Manager of a Chicago-based information technology company. Malter received his B.A. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his MBA from the Quinlan School of Business, Loyola University Chicago.
