EthnicQuiz App for iOS: guessing other players’ countries of origin

Paris, France (PRWEB) June 17, 2015 -- EthnicQuiz is an iOS game showing headshot pictures of other gamers from which the country of origin must be guessed.

Under each picture are 6 countries to choose from. There could be 1 or 2 correct answers, because a person can have 2 countries of origin (for their maternal and paternal lineages). The goal is to guess one of the person’s countries of origin and tap on it. A correct answer will score 1 point, plus an additional point if answered correctly within 10 seconds.

“According to our tests, people are surprisingly accurate in their guesses. Of course, things get more complicated when a person comes from mixed origins. People are very curious to see what others look like and to test their own ability to identify from which countries those faces are from.   • User profile (includes a summary of votes received from other users). Players can know which countries they are most frequently tagged with.
  • Player ranking to compare scores and compete with friends who also use the app
  • Shield Jokers: players can optionally purchase shield jokers to protect themselves against wrong answers and have their score increase faster.
