Etymotic’s ER•20XS High-Fidelity Earplugs Now Offer Universal Fit

The ER•20XS—an update of the ER•20 model that has long been an industry standard among musicians—has a lower profile than its predecessor. And with the Universal-Fit package, musicians will be able to change eartips, ensuring a perfect fit whether they’re onstage or in the crowd.
Etymotic’s ER•20 and ER•20XS earplugs are sold with either standard or large sized triple-flange eartips. The ER•20XS Universal-Fit package includes three interchangeable options: a pair of standard triple-flange eartips, a pair of large triple-flange eartips and a pair of foam eartips that conform to the user’s ear for a perfect fit.
Foam Meets High Fidelity: ER20•XS earplugs with foam eartips are a welcome alternative to generic foam earplugs that muffle sound. Foam eartips on ER20•XS earplugs provide the same response as triple-flange eartips, for true high-fidelity sound reduction. All eartips in the U-Fit version take advantage of advanced technology in the earplug itself to produce a flat response, offering protection and clear communication.
ER•20XS earplugs feature a stem-less design, with a low profile that conforms to the plane of the outer ear. This makes them particularly comfortable to wear under hats and other headgear. A small, flexible pull-tab allows for easy removal. Both ER•20 and ER•20XS earplugs protect against noise-induced hearing loss, lowering sound evenly by 20 dB.
