EU Research Group Names G DATA most Innovative Cyber Security Company
Bochum, Germany (PRWEB) January 02, 2015 -- EU community project IPACSO (Innovation Framework for Privacy and Cyber Security Market Opportunities) honoured IT security companies and technologies from all over Europe for the first time this year. In the "Innovative Cyber Security Company" category, the jury consisting of researchers and companies named G DATA as the most innovative IT security provider in Europe. In their reasoning, the jurors commended the creative inventiveness and the quick reactions to new cyber threats. According to IPACSO, a prime example of this is G DATA's technological response to the Bad-USB threat scenario. The German IT security company was the only provider worldwide to immediately develop an effective security tool: USB Keyboard Guard. The European Commission supports and promotes IPACSO's activities.
