Euclid Program Managers Forms New Underwriting Operations for Public Sector Alternative Risk

Chris Golonka and Jim Marquis are the key principals in this new operation which will underwrite groups, pools, captives, single risks and risk retention groups in the public sector space who employ alternative risk mechanisms.
Euclid Public Sector Alternative Risk will be writing under authority from Hudson Insurance Group, whose companies are rated A (Excellent) by A.M. Best, Financial Size Category XV.
Euclid Public Sector Alternative Risk is a program administrator specializing in alternative risk insurance and reinsurance products for the public sector, which includes cities, counties, townships, boroughs, special districts and scholastic risks. The facility will underwrite General Liability, Auto Liability, Auto Physical Damage, Public Officials Liability, Law Enforcement Liability, Educator’s Legal Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Miscellaneous Professional Liability and Sexual Misconduct. Coverage can be offered as insurance or reinsurance and can be written as a package or on a monoline basis. Euclid Public Sector Alternative Risk will maintain offices in Itasca, IL.
Chris Golonka and Jim Marquis each have over thirty years of experience in the insurance industry, with over forty years combined underwriting exclusively for the public sector. Chris currently runs Euclid Public Sector’s primary insurance program, a sister company to this new entity, and has a strong background in alternative risk insurance and reinsurance underwriting and management for the public sector. Jim’s background includes underwriting strengths within these same areas.
