EuroTalk to launch new primary language software Chatterbox at Bett 2015
London (PRWEB UK) 20 January 2015 -- “We hope that using Chatterbox will help primary teachers with mainstream foreign language lessons,” says Steve Eatock, EuroTalk’s Education Manager. “In addition, we want to give pupils the confidence to learn languages as challenging and exotic as Zulu and Vietnamese, and, most importantly, to inspire a lifelong appreciation of world languages and cultures.”
Chatterbox uses games and activities to keep children engaged as they learn essential vocabulary in any of the 120 languages available. The software also includes a recording game, to give young learners an opportunity to develop their confidence in speaking the language. Perhaps most importantly for teachers, the program also features an authoring tool, allowing classes to add vocabulary and create their own customised lessons.
“We’re excited to launch this new product for the primary school market,” adds Steve Eatock. “We’ve listened to feedback from teachers, and in Chatterbox we believe we’ve created a program that meets their needs both in and out of the classroom.”
EuroTalk will be demonstrating the new software on stand F442 at the London Bett Show, which opens this Wednesday, 21st January, at the ExCeL centre. At the show, teachers will be invited to sign up for a month’s no-risk trial, giving them an opportunity to try out the new features in Chatterbox with no obligation to subscribe. After the show, schools that choose to subscribe for 12 months will receive an extra 6 months free of charge, taking them to the end of the academic year 2016.
