EventForte Unveils Virtual Reality Platform at IMEX America, Las Vegas
(PRWEB) October 25, 2016 -- EventForte disrupts the event tech space again with the debut of its event management app on a virtual reality platform at IMEX America, one of the largest hospitality tradeshows in the country. The event management app was released in April to great acclaim, having now been made available on Apple, Android, and Windows 10 devices. Most recently, the app was made available on a web platform. The app set itself apart in the event tech world by allowing for three dimensional rendering of function spaces, allowing users to virtually explore function spaces.
With the advent of virtual reality, EventForte hopes further to decrease the necessity of recurrent site visits, saving time and money for event planners and their clients alike.

The virtual reality platform will allow event planners and other users the ability to place furniture in a venue’s function space with their hands and “walk around” the function space as if they were already in the venue. Users will be able to shift their virtual “gaze” by moving their heads as if they were in the event space. EventForte made available virtual reality headsets in their IMEX booth, allowing attendees to test out the product in person.
EventForte also conducted scenario analyses for its RFP Management product at IMEX America, showcasing Dynamic Event Bookings, EventForte’s patent pending method for reallocation of function spaces, which empowers venues to maximize group revenue by “reallocating” already allocated function space as necessary to make way for more high value bookings.
