eVerifile and NCS4 team up to help protect U.S. Stadiums and Venues with Security Certification
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) December 01, 2015 -- eVerifile’s partner, The National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), offers the nation’s first comprehensive sport and special event security credential for front line venue and event staff.
In the light of recent tragedies across the world and more recently in Paris, eVerifile and NCS4 reiterate the importance of safety and security training of front line event staff. Event staff are often the first line of defense in establishing a secure inner perimeter in and around a venue. It is critical that venue staff members receive security awareness training that emphasizes risk mitigation, communication, guest services and emergency and evacuation procedures.
The NCS4 takes a proactive approach to securing sport and special event venues by offering a Certified Sport Venue Staff (CSVS) certification, in partnership with eVerifile. The CSVS certification is a two-part credential composed of online safety and security training, and includes a background check. The CSVS curriculum is designed to enhance safety and security efforts by building awareness and improving capabilities for planning, emergency response, communication and evacuations. In addition to training, eVerifile assists with background screening protocols with continuous criminal monitoring capabilities in order to mitigate liability resulting from potential negligent hiring contractor relationships.
“eVerifile’s partnership with NCS4 allows us to further enhance the safety and security awareness of event staff and large-scale venues and stadiums throughout the United States,” said Mark Wilson, eVerifile CEO.
“Creating a culture of safety and security is a critical component to the overall success of any organization. The CSVS certification helps ensure that all venue staff are qualified, trained and prepared to perform important safety and security duties,” said Lou Marciani, National Director of NCS4.
Through eVerifile’s partnership with NCS4, several security companies and venues are using the CSVS certification to actively enhance the safety and security awareness among all venue and event staff. It is important for front line event staff to understand general and specific emergency procedures and protective actions to create a secure environment and provide quality guest service at any event. Both eVerifile and NCS4 are recognized experts in venue safety and security. The CSVS certification is designed to address and strengthen safety and security among event venues and stadiums in the United States.
