Everything Summer Camp Announces Their SPOOKtacular Halloween Costume Contest
Boyd, WI (PRWEB) October 28, 2013 -- Ghoulish greetings, Halloweeners! Fall is here once again which means it’s time to celebrate All Hallow’s Eve! People dress up for parties and other events, but the main attraction for costuming is the age-old tradition of Trick or Treating.
Trick or Treat is what makes Halloween a unique holiday. Most other holidays simply incorporate togetherness with close friends and family, but Halloween is inclusive of entire communities.
Collecting candy while showing off a great-looking costume makes for a great evening. But there’s always more than one way to publicize a Halloween costume because so many people get into it.
“Our online SPOOKtacular Halloween Costume Contest is a great way for kids to show off their costumes,” says Mark Sieglaff, Vice President of online summer camp outfitter, Everything Summer Camp. “We won’t be giving out candy, but you can win some cool prizes,” he says. “Instead of Trick or Treat, it’s Trick or Trunk!”
To share pictures of cool costumes with Everything Summer Camp, simply use the site’s submission page to upload photos. Whether costumes send chills down spines or sit more on the lighter side, Everything Summer Camp wants to see anybody and everybody’s costumes.
Summer Campers between the ages of five and sixteen are eligible to participate. Only one photo submission will be accepted for each child. However, if two or more children are posed in costume, in the same photo, the same photo can be used for each child.
Winners of the SPOOKtacular Halloween Costume Contest will not be judged, but chosen by a randomizer software program. Send in submissions any time between Monday, Oct. 28 until Sunday, Nov. 3 at 11:59 CST.
There will be two 1st Place Winners who will each receive a $100 Everything Summer Camp Gift Card as well as two 2nd Place Winners who will each receive a $50 Everything Summer Camp Gift Card. Winners can put the gift card towards a camp trunk, a new Crazy Creek Chair, or any camping gear needed for next season.
The drawing will take place on Monday, Nov. 4th. Winners will be notified by email on Monday, Nov. 4th and will be posted on Facebook Tuesday, Nov. 5th. Dress appropriately. See Official Rules.
