Evluma’s New Option for Decorative and Pedestrian LED Lighting
RENTON, Wash. (PRWEB) May 08, 2018 -- LED lighting manufacturer Evluma expands its OmniMax replacement lamp product line with the launch of the OmniMax Standard. For lighting projects with central switching, or no need for controls, Evluma offers the OmniMax Standard as a streamlined, economical option without Bluetooth or Photocontrol Failsafe™. Used to upgrade decorative street and pedestrian lighting to LED, the OmniMax offers a variety of color temperatures and a radial light engine designed to mimic the glow of HID technologies that are otherwise inefficient and maintenance intensive. Driven by customer demand, Evluma also adds a 2700K CCT option for both the OmniMax Standard and the Premium.
The Premium version, released in 2016, can be controlled via Bluetooth using Evluma’s custom app, ConnectLED™, and has Evluma’s patented Photocontrol Failsafe™ built-in. As some decorative luminaires do not require dusk-to-dawn photocontrols for operation, Photocontrol Failsafe has been removed from the Standard version. Dimming and programming abilities have also been removed from the Standard. Key electronic components such as 20kV/10kA surge protection, active cooling and Evluma’s priority driver technology remain at the core of all models and are supported by a 10-year comprehensive warranty.
Found on campuses, suburban parks or as part of an historic municipal center, decorative and pedestrian pole lighting is operated by a wide range of business and utilities. “The diversity of these lighting projects is immense and the requirements many, but the solution can be simple and cost-sensitive. By extending the OmniMax product line with OmniMax Standard, the transition to LED can be straightforward, beautiful and cost-effective,” said Marketing Director Cathleen Shattuck. A demand for 2700K means that Evluma has added a fifth color temperature to the existing 2000K-5000K suite, assisting customers to find just the right look for a project.

Compact, easy-to-install and self-ballasted, the OmniMax Premium and Standard fits multiple styles and replaces 70-175W HID bulbs. Developed for Evluma’s AreaMax luminaire, a street and area light synonymous with reliable dusk-to-dawn operation, Photocontrol Failsafe eliminates the need to replace failed photocontrols. ConnectLED, the wireless Bluetooth app for controlling OmniMax and AreaMax luminaires, is available for iPad, iPhone, Android tablet and Windows PCs.
