Evoke Raises Record Amount from Annual Fundraising Event
Arlington, VA (PRWEB) June 02, 2016 -- Evoke Research and Consulting, LLC (Evoke) is celebrating a highly successful charity event held last month in Ballston, VA. Evoke's 2nd Annual Casino Night Fundraiser raised over $36,000, of which 100% is being donated to the three charities sponsored by this event. This donation amount is a more than three-fold increase from last year's event. Charities chosen represent areas of need in three important domains – the underserved, our Nation's Veterans, and local youth.
The Virginia Hospital Center Medical Brigade – The Virginia Hospital Center Medical Brigade (VHCMB) organizes two trips per year to small towns in Honduras, where needy communities are provided free medical care, surgeries, fresh water wells, smokeless stoves, and more. http://www.vhcmedicalbrigade.org/
Warrior Events - Warrior Events is a non-profit organization that hosts dozens of free events every year for Wounded Veterans and their families, to help them re-assimilate into their community after their sacrifices for our country. http://www.warriorevents.net/
Arlington Sports Foundation - Arlington Sports Foundation provides overarching support for various youth sports organizations in the Arlington, VA area. After school activities for our community's children allows them to learn team-building and participate in leadership and skill-building sports programs. This support is being split evenly between the following organizations: Arlington Little League, Arlington Babe Ruth Baseball, Arlington Girls Softball Association, Arlington Youth Flag Football, and American Legion Post 139 Baseball.
