Mr. Squarcini comes to Arcanum with over thirty years of experience in the field of intelligence and security, having served in high-level positions in both the law enforcement and intelligence sectors. Mr. Squarcini served as the Chief of French counter-terrorism and intelligence Agency, Central Directorate of Interior Intelligence (DCRI). He retired in March 2013 as Senior Executive Prefect, after having served for five years as DCRI’s Chief. From 2007 to 2008, Mr. Squarcini was appointed Head of Homeland Security. He has served as the Delegate Prefect for Security and Defense from 2004 to 2005, and as Deputy Director of the Central Directorate of General Intelligence from 1999 to 2004. In addition, since 1979, he has held various senior positions in law enforcement, serving for eight years as Principal Commissioner of Police before his first appointment in the Central Directorate of General Intelligence as Head of Division in 1987.
