The company will immediately begin a national executive search for a new CEO. From now until April 2, Fox is working alongside incoming Excelera Board of Directors Chair Robert Beacher in a transitional “Office of the CEO.” Beacher will serve as interim CEO following Fox’s retirement if a new CEO is not found by that time.
“The board thanks Jim for his leadership and accomplishments during his tenure,” said Beacher. “The Excelera team, under Jim’s leadership, has achieved significant accomplishments including growth in membership, the establishment of limited distribution agreements with drug manufacturers and obtaining additional equity capital commitments from its investors to execute its five-year plan. I look forward to co-leading the company through the transition period.”
