Executive Travel Directors Prepares for Launch of New Online Travel Director Portal
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 30, 2014 -- Executive Travel Directors (ETD) is anticipating the launch of ProgramWire, an online portal for its 2,500+ Travel Directors, in the upcoming month. Each active independent Travel Director in the ETD registry will be invited to re-register online by creating a personal ProgramWire profile.
Earlier this year, Executive Travel Directors hand-picked a focus group of Travel Directors with various technological skills to create ProgramWire test profiles. The focus group was given tasks to perform within ProgramWire and asked for feedback. The feedback was then used to enhance system performance and user-friendliness. Overall, the focus groups responded positively to the new online portal, and look forward to the ProgramWire launch.
ProgramWire will serve as a portal between Travel Directors and the ETD database. Travel Directors will be able to update their personal information and Travel Director skills in one place, and those changes will be reflected in their records in the ETD database. This allows Executive Travel Directors to be even more aware of staff capabilities, and in turn, better provide clients with Travel Directors who are the perfect fit for their meetings, incentives, and events.
ProgramWire will serve as a portal through which Travel Directors can accept and decline program requests, view details of upcoming and past programs, search invoices by program name and date, and access common independent Travel Director FAQs. More portal capabilities, such as the ability for Travel Directors to input their work availability, will be added to ProgramWire after the transition phase, which will occur May through August of 2014.
