Executives In Action Announces 2015 Mid-Year Service Grant Recipients
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) July 14, 2015 -- Executives In Action (EIA) is excited to announce six new Impact Service grantees: CitySquare, Dallas Afterschool, Hearts for Homes, Heroes on the Water, Paul Quinn College and Voice of Hope Ministries, Inc. EIA will partner these North Texas nonprofits with seasoned, highly skilled executives in transition. Typically, many nonprofits could not afford to hire executive level consultants with these specific skills and expertise. The goal of the grant partnership is that a transformational impact will be made on the organization, the members it serves, the executive volunteers and the community as a whole to help address business management.
"We are so lucky to not only work with such a talented group of executives, but also to be able to support so many wonderful nonprofit organizations that impact North Texas in different ways year after year and our latest grantees are no exception,” Andrea White, EIA’s director of grants and programs said. “For these six grantees, not only are their missions varied but the work our executives will undertake are wide-ranging as well – from strategic planning to board recruitment and development. It is exciting to watch our nonprofit partners impact in North Texas grow as they work with the executives and we look forward to seeing what these teams achieve in the coming months.”
The grantees are selected in a three-stage process. First, nonprofits complete an application, including a summary of the grant request. Next, the EIA team narrows down the applicants for site visits to see the organizations at work. After the site visits, the EIA team, including its board and co-founders, Ashlee and Chris Kleinert, make a final decision on the grant recipients. Executives will work with grant recipients over a three to six month time period, reporting back to EIA on progress made and suggested next steps.
Earlier this year EIA announced its first round of 2015 service grantees, which included: Akola Project, Alley’s House, Assistance Center of Collin County, Behind Every Door, Boys and Girls Clubs of Collin County, Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Greater Dallas, Dallas Teacher Residency, Exodus Ministries, One Man’s Treasure, Promise House, SpiritHorse Therapeutic Riding Center, St. Philip’s School and Community Center, and The Salvation Army.
