Experience a Day of Horsepower: Celebrity Farms Racing Stables and The World Chariot Racing Federation
Upper Saddle River, NJ (PRWEB) September 24, 2013 -- The future of harness racing came alive on Sunday September 22nd 2013 when Celebrity Farms Racing Stable, the World Chariot Racing Federation and Driven By Purpose co-hosted an event to support D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) and the New World Series of Harness Racing. This was the biggest and most successful World Chariot Racing Federation and Driven By Purpose event to date! The event attracted 313 exotic cars, exotic chariots, Celebrity Jeter, beautiful people including the Celebrity Girls, and one of the most marketable superstars of harness racing and greatest harness drivers of all time: Brian Sears.
“The number of exotic cars and beautiful people at the event was incredible,” said Bruno Guarini, founder of Driven By Purpose. “It was hard for me to choose a favorite.” Some of the exotic cars in the event included Maserati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Alfa Romeo, Audi R8, Aston Martin, Bentley Continental GT, BMW M1, Z8, Corvette ZR1, Dodge Viper, Fisker, Ford GT, Lotus, Mercedes SLR, Noble, Porsche 911-GT, Rossion, Saleen, and Vector. Congratulations to all the trophy winners.
This spectacular event offered the public an insider’s look at the future of Harness Racing with exotic car-inspired chariots designed and built by Celebrity Chariots LLC, founded by Sam Stathis, who is also the founder and CEO of Stathis Enterprises and the world Chariot Racing Federation. There were photo and autograph opportunities by Harness Racing’s leading owners, trainers, and drivers, including this year’s winning driver of the Hambletonian and Hambletonian Oaks, Brian Sears.
Green by its very nature, Harness Racing is a sport that can not only stimulate economic growth, but also spark both social and environmental benefits by creating new best practices, higher education standards, work force development, and attracting the next generation. The World Chariot Racing Federation looks to advocate for these opportunities all with the purpose of revitalizing the diminishing agricultural industry.
"One horsepower can be just as electrifying as 600 horsepower," says Sam Stathis, Founder and Chairman of the World Chariot Racing Federation, "I get as much of a thrill training or driving a horse as I would jumping from a plane or pushing my Maserati to the "speed limit."
The World Chariot Racing Federation advocates economic growth, new job creation, workforce development with new standards and best practices for breeding, training, and racing equine athletes.
One of Stathis’ key objectives is to make New York the capital of advanced technologies while creating business and entrepreneurial opportunities. He believes that his work with TWCRF will inspire a transformation of the blue collar industries of construction and technology into green collar and technologically advanced industries. "What’s good for New York is typically good for the entire U.S. and the rest of the world. How do we know the future of harness racing and the construction industries? That’s easy, we created it," Stathis added.
