Experience Tacoma to Host Non-Profit Seminar to Promote City's Economy
Tacoma, WA (PRWEB) June 11, 2015 -- Experience Tacoma is holding its second seminar, Infusing Growth Internally and Externally, Tuesday, June 30th 2015 at the Mountaineers in Tacoma. This a non-profit forum meant exclusively for local community business owners and leaders of Tacoma to learn from each other, create cohesion and work together to enrich the community. All proceeds will go directly back to supporting local Tacoma business districts. This event is affiliated with Experience Tacoma, also known as the Cross District Association (CDA).
Experience Tacoma enhances the Cross District Association's ability to flourish by sharing information, offering promotional opportunities, and supporting leadership and organizational development. The organization represents all of the Neighborhood Business Districts in the City of Tacoma through its efforts to promote, organize, advocate for, and develop the economy and community found in those districts.
Influential seminar speakers will include Lisa Patterson, editor-in-chief of 425 magazine and South Sound magazine; Joanna Monroe, Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Compliance and Risk Officer for TrueBlue Inc.; Bobbie Bailey, Owner and President of Marketing Puget Sound; Tom Pierson, President and CEO of Tacoma-Pierce County Chamber; and marketing consultant Dana Pethia.
Single tickets for the event from 8 AM to noon on Tuesday June 30, 2015. Light snacks, tools, and networking & exposure for businesses will be provided.
