Experienced Horse Trainer Shares Personal Stories, Advice in New Book
Bell Bridge, Australia (PRWEB) July 17, 2014 -- For many years, stockman and horse breaker Quentin Szery has been a well-known figure of the Australian outback, traveling across the outback, breaking in horses, managing cattle and teaching others how to handle horses. When Szery met Alison Huth, his son’s teacher, they bonded over a mutual love and respect of horses.
Together the two began working on a nonfiction guide to training horses, now released as, “Starting Horses with Quentin Szery” (published by Balboa Press AU), which combines Huth’s writing talents with Szery’s lifetime of experiences with horses.
A unique guide for any beginning or advanced horse trainer and rider, “Starting Horses with Quentin Szery” explores the psychology of horses and analyzes the relationship between humans and horses. The authors expand on the natural instincts and behaviors horses have that are the result of that relationship.
Szery includes his expert knowledge and advice for horse trainers and writers. He explains methods and techniques that have proven to be effective for training high-performing mustering and camp draft horses.
“The book is small, concise and compact using everyday language to communicate one man’s wealth of lifetime experience and subsequent expertise in the horse industry,” says Huth. “It is relevant to any person wishing to improve their understanding of horses and how to train them effectively.”
