Experienced Physiotherapist Reveals The Key to Healing Back Pain In New Book
Jefferson City, Missouri (PRWEB) April 19, 2015 -- Physiotherapist and author Thomas Seebeck presents a number of osteopathic techniques that are also wonderfully suited for self-treatment in his new book ‘Healing Back Pain with Osteopathic Tension Releasing Exercises.’ A subset of the book ‘Osteopathic Self-Treatment’ that is also written by him, this new book includes a variety of exercises for back pain relief at all areas of the spine, illustrated in a detailed and practical manner.
From the first osteopathic self-treatment, the three planes of movement and focusing on the key principles of osteopathy to techniques like the (SCS) strain-counterstrain to treat pressure-sensitive pain points, Seebeck’s book empowers people to understand how personal body awareness comes into play to help them achieve a completely natural healing. Top to bottom exercises start with the cervical, thoracic, lumbar and whole spine (including the sacrum and coccyx) and end with the shoulders, knees, ankles, pelvis and feet.
“The cause of impaired self-healing powers is a problem with the nourishing and cleansing of the cells, the muscles, the bones or any other structure. A functioning self-healing and immune system can solve virtually any health problem. Therefore, osteopathy focuses on activating these oftentimes impaired and thereby achieve,” said Seebeck.
Each section of the book begins with a precise description of the problem area in question before moving onto test, exercise and retest sections to address any discomfort. The author’s interest in QiGong is evident in ‘Healing Back Pain with Osteopathic Tension Releasing Exercises’ as he includes some of the oldest and most effective exercises such as ‘waves of the ocean’ to enhance the effectiveness and self-healing powers of the body. Grounding, centering and exercise of the inner alchemy are just a few of the many interesting concepts that the book includes.
Praising the book, Light Within Enterprises said, “It is empowering to have a set of exercises at hand to take care of your body.”
“I have used many of the exercises for the head and neck to help with the management of a chronic neurologic disorder. I have noticed that the frequency of symptoms has decreased and discussed this also with my neurologist. He is happy with the results also and has suggested I continue using the exercises,” said Rachael Monaco, a delighted reader.
