Experiential Marketing Agency Announces Name Change
Toronto, Ontario (PRWEB) January 29, 2014 -- Exceptional brands emerge not from well-conceived strategies or great design but from the convergence of both. To conclude an extensive yearlong re-branding initiative, Toronto-based brand experience agency, Tigris Personnel is proud to announce that it will no longer operate as a subsidiary division of I.OPT Marketing Groups Ltd., - and as of Jan. 1, 2014, has updated its company name from Tigris Personnel to Tigris Incorporated (or Tigris, for short).
The road to re-branding began in January 2012 with the need to better reflect the companies range of capabilities in the industry and to resonate better with current and prospective clients. Tigris introduced a revamped logo with a sleeker colour scheme along with a new website in spring 2012, followed by an updated business card design and promotional material mid-2013.
The name change and disconnect from I.OPT are the final step in the transition targeted not only to refresh the brand identity of the company; but also to alter its entire corporate image. “Tigris is fully integrated in personnel, promotions, marketing and events so steering people away from the perception that we are a staffing specific agency only is key” says company President & CEO, Serena Schwab. “Dropping personnel from the company name no longer restricts Tigris to staffing, based on this perception, and will resonate more clearly with clients, especially if they’ve never heard of us before.”
While Tigris was founded and operated as an event staffing agency for five years, in 2009, event planning and management became a prominent aspect of the business. For the past three years but unbeknownst to many, Tigris has been leveraging creative, experiential and logistical support for a number of clients such as Bell Media, St. Joseph’s Hospital, Zoom Media and Dole.
Recognizing how important technology and creative services are in the ever-evolving industry, Tigris formalized a partnership with digital and creative powerhouse, Midfield Interactive, towards the end of 2013. The goal with the partnership is to offer clients innovative and cost-effective, turnkey solutions with maximum ease.
Synonymous with the name change, the company will also be updating its trademarked slogan from “the power of presence” to “bringing brands to life with the power of presence”.
The changes have been well received thus far with Tigris’ sales up 25% since 2012. The refreshed brand identity ties in nicely with the company’s ten year anniversary coming up in April of this year.
