Experts from Andrews International at ASIS & Intellenet Events
Atlana, GA (PRWEB) April 22, 2015 -- Experts from Andrews International, an affiliate of U.S. Security Associates, are leading presentations at several upcoming conferences and seminars. Senior management executives from the Consulting, Investigations and International division of the security company are scheduled to speak in April at ASIS events in New York City and Toronto, and at an Intellenet conference in Las Vegas.
On April 22 at the ASIS 25th New York City Security Conference, Executive Director of Global Operations James A. Acevedo, CPP, CPS, is delivering a presentation on “The Threat of Unmanned Vehicles.” Acevedo explores this potential threat and the need for security professionals to devise countermeasures to thwart the use of unmanned vehicles in the air, on the ground, and under water. Executive protection, supply chain security, and business espionage are among the security sectors that are taking steps to address this emerging threat. Acevedo discusses current systems and capabilities available to the public.
The conference takes place at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Center, with 100+ exhibitors and a program addressing critical issues faced by today’s security professionals. Acevedo’s talk is part of a two-day lineup of education sessions on the hottest security industry topics. More than 2,500 public and private sector security professionals are expected to attend the 25th anniversary of the New York City Security Conference & Expo.
From New York, Acevedo travels on to Canada, where he is engaged to speak on the same topic at the 22nd Annual Best Practices Seminar, hosted by the ASIS Toronto Chapter. The seminar takes place at Toronto’s Markham Event Centre on April 23. The Best Practices Seminar draws security professionals from the Greater Toronto Area and surrounding regions to learn about current security industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. ASIS Toronto Chapter and the Best Practices Committee collaborate to bring in cutting-edge presentations that provide members with valuable knowledge they can use to secure their organizations. Speakers include experts in their fields, like Acevedo, as well as professionals selected from the Chapter's dynamic mix of security managers, service providers, law enforcement members and affiliated organizations, both private and public.
The next week, Acevedo’s associate, Mexico Deputy Director Thomas Cseh, is leading a roundtable discussion at the 32nd Annual Intellenet Conference in Las Vegas. Cseh is the lead presenter for the “Transnational Security Details and Investigations and the Use of Sub-Contractors” session. The conference takes place from April 28 to May 1 at the New York, New York Las Vegas Hotel & Casino. The event brings together an experienced group of professional investigators and security consultants with national and international specialized investigative capabilities. The conference is an opportunity to learn, network, and expand skills and expertise to assist businesses in resolving problems with the utmost professionalism and competency. Intellenet has at least one agent in every state, along with members in over 50 foreign countries, and affiliates throughout the entire world.
