Explore Fairbanks Releases New Destination Video Featuring the Aurora Borealis
Fairbanks, AK (PRWEB) November 25, 2014 -- Explore Fairbanks released a new three-minute, 41-second destination video on October 7, 2014 to more than 470 state visitor industry professionals at the 2014 Alaska Travel Industry Association Conference in Fairbanks. The video highlights the midnight sun and the aurora borealis, two natural phenomenon that define Fairbanks as a destination. Gah! Films produced the short film which can now be viewed on YouTube. The local band Young Fangs, performing their original song “Show Me the Way," provide the background music and are also featured in the video.
The video incorporates summer and winter images on an array of outdoor activities including aurora viewing, curling, dog mushing, ice sculpting and playing under the midnight sun. Also featured are year-round cultural and artistic events and performances such as Alaska Native dances, museum exhibits and local artisans. Additionally, the video highlights nearby locations such as North Pole, Chena Hot Springs, Denali National Park and Alaska's Interior and Arctic.
