Extreme Energy Solutions Invites Special Guest ARCA Driver Tony Mrakovich to Drive at Orange County Fair Speedway’s Eastern States Weekend
Middletown, New York (PRWEB) October 02, 2017 -- The young gun ARCA rookie driver Tony Mrakovich, who hails from Middletown, Pennsylvania, will be joining the lineup of the drivers sporting the Extreme Energy Solutions banner at the Orange County Fair Speedway for the 2017 Eastern States weekend. Mrakovich has made the transition from local dirt track racing to the larger venue of ARCA asphalt stock car racing, and will be piloting the #H20 H2O Energy Flow/Extreme Energy Solutions machine, which is currently under preparations to be entered in the Crate Sportsman 50 lap contest.
Mrakovich will be parred up with the rest of the Extreme Team including veteran drivers Tommy Vigh Jr. and Connor Otten, rookie Roddy Watts, and Hall of Famer driver Jeff “the Jeffer” Heotzler. All of them are eager to capture the checkered flag on the last lap of their respective divisions. Extreme hopes to develop a business relationship with the up and coming Mrakovich; one that will aid Extreme in furthering its motorsports marketing campaign to successfully reach the top levels of stock car racing.
“We met Mrakovich during a business meeting with his father, Shane Mrakovich, owner of Street Stores Hardware. We learned that our respective businesses had similar values and goals, especially as it related with the value we mutually appreciate about motorsports marketing. After meeting Tony, we had to be able to see what the kid could do, and offered him the opportunity to pilot one of our rides at the Hard Clay’s contest,” shared Samuel K. Burlum, CEO and President of Extreme Energy Solutions, Inc.
“We are honored that Mrakovich accepted our offer, as he decided to sit out of his scheduled Kansas ARCA race event to join our team for ESW. We look forward to the knowledge and experience he will bring to our team as well as the fan base to Orange County. Though we know the Hard Clay always is a tough venue, we feel Mrakovich will fit right in,” continued Burlum.
Mrakovich is no stranger to tough competition. Tony started his driving career at the age of 8, behind the wheel of go-karts in the World Karting Association. By the end of 2010, he had logged in 4 club race wins, and over 20 event wins between campaigns at Hunterstown and Selinsgrove Speedway. By age 12, the youngster had advanced his career in karting, hitting tracks throughout the Mid-Atlantic circuit, logging several top five finishes. At the age of 14, Mrakovich was in charge of driving legend style cars, clocking a series of top five and top ten finishes, transitioning to a full season of 25-30 race events in a season. 2016 brought the biggest change to Mrakovich’s career, where he began to hit both asphalt and dirt tracks in over five different states, which lead to his ARCA campaign.
Mrakovich connected with NASCAR team owner Carl Long who invited him to ARCA test sessions at Daytona early of 2017. It was there that NASCAR legend, veteran driver and team owner Ken Schrader would recognize the young Penn driver, giving Tony a chance to drive full size stock cars on some of the most well recognized and challenging asphalt stock car tracks. Mrakovich has recorded three career starts in ARCA with runs at Nashville, Salem, and Pocono, putting on the books finishes of 8th, 9th, and 15th.
Mrakovich continues to race on both dirt and asphalt. This will be his first appearance at the Orange County Fair Speedway. “I welcome the opportunity to drive for Burlum. Every chance I get to drive behind the wheel is a step closer to developing my career and becoming a better driver,” added Mrakovich, “I hope to make it a good run and look forward to working with the drivers and crew of Extreme. I welcome the opportunity.”
Tony Mrakovich, Tommy Vigh Jr., Connor Otten, and Roddy Watts plan to compete in the Crate Sportsman with hopes of landing a qualifying spot in the 50 Lap Feature, which is set for Friday, October 20, 2017, kicking off one of the most competitive racing events of the season. Heotlzer has his aims on trying to capture the Big Block Modified 200 victory on Sunday, October 22, 2017. Visit http://www.ExtremeEnergySolutions.net for more information.
