F&D Audit Partner selected to serve on the International Federation of Accountants Transnational Auditors Committee
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) March 26, 2015 -- Sean Lager, Frazier & Deeter Audit Partner and Leader of the Technology Practice, has become a member of the International Federation of Accountants’ (IFAC) Transnational Auditors Committee (TAC).

The TAC officially connects the IFAC with the Forum of Firms (FoF), an independent association of international networks of firms that perform transnational audits. It is the TAC’s responsibility to promote the Forum’s objectives through its mandate that member firms adhere to high-quality standards when performing international audits.
The TAC acts as a best practices forum by identifying qualified candidates to serve on various standard-setting boards. This enables the TAC to enhance overall audit quality and communicate audit practice issues that need to be addressed.

Lager also serves as a member on the AICPA Technical Issues Committee and is the North American representative of PKF International’s professional standards committee.
