Fabric Graphics and Flexibility Featured in The Trade Group’s Enhanced Compatto™ Portable Display Line
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) June 22, 2016 -- When The Trade Group initially launched its Compatto line of portable trade show displays, the goal was to offer event marketers a lightweight, portable line with high-impact graphics. It was also important that the displays would set up easily and pack down into compact cases that were easy to transport.
“While the Compatto line checked off all of those boxes, advances in exhibit design and technology inspired our product design team to push the envelope even further,” says Stephen Peterson, who manages new product launches at The Trade Group.
The advance that Peterson expects to have the biggest impact on the Compatto line is the option to replace rigid graphic panels with fabric graphics using a silicone edge gasket (SEG) system. SEG Fabric Graphics easily insert into grooves in the display frame, which simplifies setup.
Fabric offers a number of additional benefits to exhibitors. As senior designer Christina Moore explains, “The fabric frames are lighter, because fabric requires less interior support than rigid panels, and they pack smaller. In addition, fabric graphics are absolutely seamless, unlike the earlier Compatto displays, which include multiple rigid panels that connect together.”
Since installation involves one seamless, fabric graphic vs. multiple panels, setup time can be reduced significantly.
Exhibitors can choose from either opaque SEG Fabric Graphics or upgrade to Fabric LED Light Boxes Powered by LUMIO™ Technology, depending on their needs. “In addition, unlike the original Compatto kits, clients can now choose either round or square posts, which can really transform the look of the displays,” Peterson says.
Like the original line, Compatto displays with fabric graphics come in tabletop, 10x10 and 10x20 configurations. The design team also included fabric expansion walls and optional Fabric LED Light Boxes in the new fabric-based Compatto line.
According to Peterson, “Rinnovare is a new series of expansion kits for displays that use fabric graphics. The Rinnovare expansion walls allow exhibitors with a 10’ backwall display to expand their booths to 20 feet, by flanking the display with the Rinnovare expansion walls on either side.”
