FacilitySource Announces New Vice President, Service Provider Management
Columbus, Ohio; Phoenix, Arizona; Racine, Wisconsin (PRWEB) December 18, 2013 -- FacilitySource, the world leader in facility maintenance management for geographically dispersed real estate portfolios, is pleased to announce the appointment of Matt Brennan as Vice President, Service Provider Management to the executive team. “FacilitySource clients continue to show interest in having us play a more active role in the selection and management of the service providers performing work at their locations,” commented Bill Hayden, FacilitySource CEO. “In addition to adding capacity to our Elite Network of Service Providers, Matt and his team will be building out a more proactive and comprehensive facilities repair and maintenance program to better meet the needs of our clients.”
As Brennan noted, “FacilitySource is doing so much more than simply dispatching a service provider to a particular location and processing the invoice. The team proactively identifies and selects the highest quality and most reliable service providers in each region, makes sure that all work is performed at or above our clients’ standards, and we aggressively work to keep costs contained. We want our clients’ store managers to stay focused on their customers, and let us take care of making sure the best service providers show up and perform the work excellently.”
Earlier in his career, Brennan served with GE Consumer Finance as Vice President Vendor Network & Wholesale Product Marketing, launching a new business venture and managing $60 million of annual third party vendor expense. In 2005, he assumed a role within GE as Operations Leader, Shared Service, where he managed all operational functions in a multi-site outsource environment for a $3 billion medical equipment leasing business. Brennan also served at Roadside Protect as SVP Operations, where he stabilized key vendor relationships and drove new revenue by structuring strategic relationships in the Automotive, Cellular/Telematic, and Powersports markets.
Most recently, Brennan served as VP Operations for Oakleaf Waste Management, where he was responsible for the overall management of their network of waste haulers. “Matt was critical in transforming Oakleaf into a formidable competitive force with a compelling value proposition, market leading technologies, and a highly scalable order-to-cash process,” said Hayden.
In addition to building capacity within the Elite Network of Service Providers, Brennan’s goals over the coming months include evaluating FacilitySource’s existing programs to better understand which trades should be bolstered in order to service client locations more effectively.
Brennan graduated from Concordia University-River Forest with a Bachelor’s Degree in Organizational Management and brings to FacilitySource a strong track record of developing strategies to improve efficiency and to increase revenue with an emphasis on building and maintaining strategic business relationships with clients, service providers, and team members.
