Fadó Irish Pub at Easton Town Center Hosts Largest St. Patrick’s Day Block Party in Columbus March 14th and 17th
Columbus, Ohio (PRWEB) February 16, 2015 -- Year after year, the biggest St. Patrick’s Day festival in Columbus is located at Fadó Irish Pub in Columbus] in Easton Town Center. On Saturday March 14th, Fadó will hoist its heated tent once more, setting up the big stage for an all day, all night bash. Doors open early for European sports including 6 Nations Rugby and English Premier League soccer, while the pub offers a full brunch menu and traditional Irish fare. The outdoor party includes a full line-up of live music and Irish dancers, a beer garden, fully stocked bars, a food tent as well as the Tullamore Dew signature cocktail, served in a “flexible flask” called “Paddys Day Fun Bags”. And, on Tuesday, March 17, doors will open early for “Kegs n’ Eggs” at 7:00 a.m. for another full day of festivities with live music and more. St Baldrick’s Charity Event, Saturday, March 14 from 10:00 a.m through 3:00p.m.- An annual head-shaving event where the community raises money and awareness to help fight children’s cancer. Fun Fact: “craic” is an Irish term meaning “good times,” so we like to always say that this event is “great craic for a great cause”. St. Patrick’s Day, Tuesday, March 17 - Doors open at 7:00 a.m. with Kegs n’ Eggs, so put on your party shoes early! A $5 cover - which will get you breakfast - starts at 8:00 a.m. Full menu, including traditional Irish fare like corned beef and cabbage, is available all day. Live music will provide the background to your breakfast or to your pint-raising, with the Ladies of Longford taking the stage at 8:00 a.m. They will be followed throughout the day by bands including These Guys Live, 1988, The Band, The Reaganomics, The Spazmatics and Blood, Sweat, Beers. Cyril Scott Pipes & Drums along with The Irwin Academy of Irish Dance will make everyone feel just a wee bit Irish as they perform in the traditional Irish way. A $10 cover charge starts at 10:00 am.
