Fadó Irish Pub in Center City Celebrates 14th St. Patrick’s Day Season with a Full Month of Events
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) February 23, 2015 -- Irish and Irish-adorers alike can expect a full line-up of events at Fadó Irish Pub this St. Patrick’s Day season. Kicking the festivities off on March 7, or St. Practice Day, the pub opens at 9:00 a.m. and offers live music all day. $5 cover and 21+ starting at 2pm. Sunday, March 15 is Parade Day in Philadelphia and the pub offers a family-friendly atmosphere with brunch available until 2.30pm. Doors open early for European sports, English Premier League and 6 Nations rugby. On March 17, doors open at 8:00 a.m for Pints & Pancakes. No cover will be charged, but a $5 donation to the Ancient Order of Hibernians (AoH) is accepted. $5 cover and 21 and over starts at 3pm with live music and entertainment.

St. Practice Day, Saturday, March 7, 9:00 a.m. - St. Practice Day is a custom at Fadó. Doors open at 9:00 a.m., live music from Dead Poets at 2pm and 52 Pickup at 6pm. $5 cover and 21+ after 2pm. DJ Press Play starts at 10pm.

St Baldrick’s Charity Event, Sunday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. - The 7th annual head-shaving event raises community awareness and funds to help fight children’s cancer. Fun Fact: “craic” is an Irish term meaning “good times,” and this event is considered “great craic for a great cause”. We have a $55,000 fundraising goal and 30 shavees have already signed up! Guinness “Hooley” Beer Dinner – Monday, March 9, 7:00 p.m. - A “hooley” is a Gaelic term that means party and Chef Sam has prepared a 4 course menu paired perfectly with sample servings of a variety of the best Guinness product in the world. Click here to buy tickets!

St. Patrick’s Day Super Pub Quiz – Wednesday, March 11, 8:00 p.m. - Test your knowledge of the homeland at this all-Ireland pub quiz. Special games and prizes will be given all night. New teams are welcome. No cover.
Saturday, March 14 - Get your St. Paddy’s on at Pre-Paddy’s Party at Fadó! Come early and channel your inner-Irish as you watch European sports including 6 Nations Rugby and English Premier League soccer. A $10 cover starts at 9:00 a.m. 21 + and $5 cover starts at 3pm.
